Over the Himalayas (October 2016) - “Sunlight streamed through grumbling storm clouds that played like tiger kittens around the mountain ridges.” ― Jane Wilson-Howarth, A Glimpse of Eternal Snows: A Journey of Love and Loss in the Himalayas

The Sehnsucht poems (6)

As quickly
As a butterfly's
Beat of a wing
A blinking of the eyes

A swirl of fate
Is stealing you
Again

A rapture
From my belly
A suspended breath
A waiting
An affront
To my love

The merciless fangs
Of the hook
In the lively flesh
Of the soul

Fixed
Hearts and bones
Immobilized orphans
Dressed
With Black velvet tears

The perfect alchemy
Of a thousand hours
Burnt
At the light of
An endless
Empty night
The longing for
An eternal return
Of grace
The sunny blossom
Of your smile

The sigh
Of a dawn
Dreaming
In our sleepy garden
