Over the Himalayas (October 2016) - “Sunlight streamed through grumbling storm clouds that played like tiger kittens around the mountain ridges.” ― Jane Wilson-Howarth, A Glimpse of Eternal Snows: A Journey of Love and Loss in the Himalayas

The air that I breathe

Hot
Summer cement
Under my lazy feet
Head bent
against your warmth
My hand
Under your shirt
A caress
Lingering
On the velvety touch
Of your skin
Our bodies
As vast
As two oceans
Containing each other
Rebuilding Time
Again
A waterfall of curls
Spread
Over the pillow
Breathed
By the infinite love
Of your hands
Your lips
Drinking
The dark scarlet shadow
Of my mouth
A poison expelled
To let only beauty
Blossom

Caresser

Caresser
Is my word-gift
For you
My song of love
The song
Of a whisper
In your ears

A lightness
Containing
A million years
Of strengths
Suddenly
Injected
In my breath

Caresser

Your breath
With the tip
Of my fingers

Envelopping the softness
Of your smile
A dance of love
Upon your skin

My hands
A travel
Over your resurrected body
Out of the dryness
And the dust
Shaped by the wind
And the blinding colours
Of the sun
The swallowed miles
The swallowed words
The drunken sacred silent
Of the wild

Deciphered
Read
Beyond each horizon

Caresser

This image of you
Here
And there
Now
And then
Your hand in my hand
I too
Can see
The multiple scratches
And the unexplainable
Beauties
Both
Flowing
From your heart
To my loving hands

Summer thoughts

Giant lizards
Curled up
In the blinding
Summer sky

Smiling
Harmless
Dinosaurs
Unfolded silently
In an endless
Procession
Guiding me
Through their celestial
Floating

Leading my eyes
To the other side
Of the blueness
To the end of the end
Of what my mind
Can think of
Until
They finally
Reach you

Clear-sightedness

The heart
Swelled
With despair

An unexpected pain
Whose purple blade
Suddenly transfigures
The beauty
Of a moment

Self-doubt
Bending force

A curvature
A renunciation
Imposing
A silent acceptance
An expectation
Dressed in guilt

A compromise
Hanging
Upon my lips

My eyes
Always tested

The sacrificial danse
Of the soul

Your eyes

The merciless arena
Of my pains

The unique
Solid
Loving
Meaningful
Harbour
That is
My Home
