Salt and Honey

My lonely hands
Have looked for him
For ages
Through twisted trembling roads
and dark damned silent nights
Until
They finally reached
The treasure
Of his soul
Drinking the world
In a thirst of insatiable
Wonder

His kisses
A taste
Of salt and honey

His voice
A wave of
Oneness

His warmth
A poetry
Which my lips
Will never can tell
Or translate
The beauty

My companero
With golden lips

A recognition
A blessing

My soul
Immediately knew
How to love you
Your familiar taste
My fingers
My arms
My lips
Meeting you
Beyond the horizon
Beyond time and bewilderment
The perfect golden gift
Beyond the clouds and the mountains
Beyond the anonymous airports
And their silent departure lounges
Full of shiver and pre-enjoyment
The flavor of
The 'almost there'
A volcano
Nested in the hollow of the belly
A sacred thread
unwound towards you
The unique way to go
The unique way to be
Calmly
And transfigured
By love
And in the longing for
The only harbour
Of your arms
