Over the Himalayas (October 2016) - “Sunlight streamed through grumbling storm clouds that played like tiger kittens around the mountain ridges.” ― Jane Wilson-Howarth, A Glimpse of Eternal Snows: A Journey of Love and Loss in the Himalayas

Here, in reality
A sleepless night A night of un-chosen Sacrifice Silent In loneliness Exploding With guiltiness Like broken glass Into a million cries The desperate beauty Of your voice Whispering Killing words In my ears
You have set the scene within your poetic words; almost a stage with the background in your description. I think your cinematic interests have influenced this very precise, set of emotions...Reality, can be cruel and lingering!! A poem written at the weekend by me and at my Blog, is called,'Reality.' we have both been visited by a similiar thought!!
Thank you so much Eileen for your very insightful reading.. So glad it brings to your mind images close to a cinematic setting..If I hadn't written poetry, I would have loved to make films.. or maybe both... :)
Looking forward to read your poem too!! Danielle xx
