Over the Himalayas (October 2016) - “Sunlight streamed through grumbling storm clouds that played like tiger kittens around the mountain ridges.” ― Jane Wilson-Howarth, A Glimpse of Eternal Snows: A Journey of Love and Loss in the Himalayas

The air that I breathe

Hot
Summer cement
Under my lazy feet
Head bent
against your warmth
My hand
Under your shirt
A caress
Lingering
On the velvety touch
Of your skin
Our bodies
As vast
As two oceans
Containing each other
Rebuilding Time
Again
A waterfall of curls
Spread
Over the pillow
Breathed
By the infinite love
Of your hands
Your lips
Drinking
The dark scarlet shadow
Of my mouth
A poison expelled
To let only beauty
Blossom
