Over the Himalayas (October 2016) - “Sunlight streamed through grumbling storm clouds that played like tiger kittens around the mountain ridges.” ― Jane Wilson-Howarth, A Glimpse of Eternal Snows: A Journey of Love and Loss in the Himalayas

Angel

Still
Silent
And cold
I am watching
The emptiness
Of her absence

A breast
That once fed me
A heart
Who used to sing me
Songs and lullabies

I feel lost
With her
In this mysterious foggy night
Swimming into an ocean
of stars
Among the terribly beautiful
Constellations

Our voices, our laughs, our cries
Colliding
In a now impossible meeting
Leaving
The wounded orphan
Deprived of
An essential breath

Blinding sun, softly moving green grass
And the roaring ocean
Nature
Singing its glorious song
Of an eternal renewal
In my ears
While she is lying there
Still and mute
At the end of an end
Irrevocably
Beautifully kidnapped from the world
Leaving on tiptoe
A definitive hush
In the middle of this endless night
(for my grand-mother Angèle - september 2012)
